Thank you to everyone who joined our recent industry webinar, Discover the Power of Tourism Insights with Visit Wales, held on 14 October 2025.

Led by the Visit Wales Research and Insights team, the session explored the wide range of data and intelligence available to support the tourism industry in Wales. Attendees gained valuable insights into:

  • domestic tourism trends from the Great Britain Tourism Survey (GBTS),
  • international visitor data from the International Passenger Survey (IPS), and
  • findings from our Market Demand Surveys.

The webinar also examined how this evidence base supports Wales’s wider tourism ambitions – from enhancing visitor experiences to strengthening our position in a competitive global market. Interactive polls and a live Q&A session provided opportunities for attendees to share feedback and ask questions directly to the research team.

Whether you're a tourism operator, destination manager or stakeholder with an interest in visitor trends, this session offered practical examples of how research can inform decision-making, marketing, and strategic planning.
