- contributing to the wellbeing of our people.
It also provided a forward look at the events landscape, highlighting key opportunities, strategic partnerships, and the role of Event Wales.
Major events are a cornerstone of Wales’ cultural, economic and international identity. From world-class sporting fixtures and music festivals to global conferences, these events showcase the vibrancy, resilience and creativity of our nation. They bring communities together, stimulate local economies, and position Wales as a dynamic destination on the global stage.
Over the past decade, Wales has demonstrated its capacity to host events of scale and significance. These events have not only delivered immediate economic benefits but have also left lasting legacies in infrastructure, skills development and community engagement. Looking ahead, Wales is poised to build on this momentum and upcoming events will continue to reflect our national priorities and values.
