A Final Call for Our Medium-Sized Businesses
This final intervention targets medium-sized businesses (50–250 employees). It ensures that companies of all sizes in our sector can strengthen their offer. These firms have the greatest potential to grow jobs and boost regional economies by extending their operating season.
By helping businesses withstand the elements, we’re giving them more trading days. But more than that, we’re helping them deliver a warm, world-class Welsh welcome year-round.
To be eligible you must:
- be a tourism or hospitality business based in Wales
- employ between 50-250 permanent year-round employees via PAYE
- have been trading for at least one year
- have an online presence to show you attract visitors from outside your local area.
Eligible project costs could include infrastructure like:
- Canopies, pergolas, or covered seating
- Covered walkways or visitor shelters
- Woodchip or gravel paths
- Hard standing for car parks
- Indoor play areas
Facilities must be available for day visitors to your business - we cannot fund facilities that are for the sole use of your overnight/staying guests.
