Whilst face to face meetings and events were suspended during the covid pandemic, Visit Wales continued to meet frequently with stakeholders virtually. The industry webinars proved invaluable to Visit Wales and our stakeholders and now form part of our ongoing core industry engagement events.

Free online training for Welsh tourism businesses
Practical sessions to help grow your business, reach new customers, and boost bookings using travel trade and digital tools. To get the full benefit, please view all three online training sessions:
- Session 1: Understanding Travel Trade - 27 November 2025
- Session 2: Travel Trade distribution - 10 December 2025
- Session 3: Digital distribution and visibility - 22 January 2026
- Final session: Practical ways to reach new customers - 25 March 2026. A focused, practical session that brings together the key learning from all three sessions and helps you move confidently from theory into action.
One-to-one mentoring opportunity
As part of the programme, Visit Wales also piloted a one‑to‑one business mentoring scheme with a small number of Welsh tourism businesses. We hope to run this programme again in the future. If you would like to be placed on a waiting list to hear first about the opportunity and to be considered, please complete and submit the online application form.
To be eligible to apply you will need to have attended or watched the three online training sessions. Applications will be considered against set criteria.
